Public give Option PZ a warm welcome
4/3/10The public meeting hosted last night by Andrew George and the Penzance Business Network to launch Option PZ attracted hundreds of supporters, and laid to rest once and for all the argument that "it's Option A or nothing".
What started out as a attempt to produce an alternative should Option A fail has resulted in a vastly superior scheme. It's not perfect (we would of course prefer freight handling away from the harbour) but it provides everything that Option A does without damaging the listed South Pier or interfering with the historic seafront.
