Objections still accepted
26/3/09The official “deadline” for objecting to the Route Partnership’s planning application to build on Battery Rocks beach passed today, March 26th, but planning officers have told the Friends of Penzance Harbour that objections will be accepted up until a few days before the planning committee meets to consider the applications.
The date of the planning committee meeting that will consider the application is not known so objectors should get their letters to the council as soon as possible. It is likely however that the plans will not be considered for some weeks and possibly not until after the elections for the Unitary Authority in June. Keep checking the web site for news of the date of the planning committee meeting.
